STAY AWAY FROM THESE RIP-OFF ARTISTS!!

Landlords has shown themselves to be nothing but the biggest bully boys on the playground.
I have had nothing but problems with these people since I moved in to the block I am staying in, in Wynberg Cape Town.
Firstly, that old adage, "read the small print carefully" - do it!! Read the small print. These people have inserted clauses into their contracts to lease that make the tenants responsible for every small thing. Every letter you receive from them for anything, and if you have signed their ridiculous contracts, then you are stuck.
Secondly, if you do not agree with them, they will charge you for the disagreement... Mike Thorne is a rude, arrogant man that doesn't have a care for his tenants, merely for his client list, his employers. He will add R500 to your account, merely for speaking to him on the phone to address the issue. He is never wrong... Right!
Thirdly, if you owe them even one Rand, they WILL list you with ITC and make your life till you pay.
If you can find another friendlier option to rent through. Save yourself the agony.
