Once your deposit is paid to him and you move in, you have to clean the apartment at your own cost and fix broken fittings throughout the apartment. The specific Norsemount flat in Glenwood has a shower which leaks internally however Alvin insists that it is due to misuse by the tenant. The kitchen has been flooded previously and he denies this blaming the tenant for causing water damage. On moving out, your deposit will not be refunded as he withholds the entire amount for so called repairs. He is not a man of principal and rather avoid yourself the stress of dealing with him. Anyway, that R4000 will not take you very far brother.
