Poor quality housing and breach of building stds

We recently bought a 3 bed, 2.5 bathroom unit in Thorntree place in fourways in the first phase and we finally moved into our unit in December after numerous delays.

Once we had taken occupation, we soon realized how badly built the units are. This is quite appalling since Sable homes ethos is "We have built our reputation on quality, innovation, excellent standards and reliability in a highly competitive environment. It is through our spirit that we are creating not just fabulous homes, but rewarding lifestyles for our clients." This could not be further from the truth in my experience as since moving in we have had to constantly fight to get anywhere.

We had an initial 'snag list' of about 67 items, of which some are major, like our balcony leaks into our enclosed patio below, the carport is so small it is not fit for purpose (and in breach of building regulations) and our first floor main room and bathroom wall has been built skew, which is out of the tolerances set out by the SANS regulations.

I had hired hired a professional building consultant at great expense of my own and he confirmed numerous other violations, such as insufficient damp proofing but to name a few.
