Daffodil Gardend flat in Akasia a NO NO - BEWARE

We are tenants at Daffodil Gardens flat in Akasia next to Netcare Akasia Hospital and I do not know where to begin with my frustration with Midcity properties and South Trustees. These two companies do not care about its tenants at all. The escalate to the 5-story apartment building broke down on Thursday the 28 of November 2013 - which makes it 2 months now. We informed Allistair Mpike about the situation and he advised that he reported the lifts to South Trustees and Midcity, but they have not yet been fixed. It must again be noted that without elevators, getting anything done is even more challenging, we cannot properly do our groceries or laundry because we can't carry stuff up five flights of stairs to the main floor. We can't do it. We just can't do it, it's too hard for us. We as the tenants are not happy about the situation under discussion at all and this is a simple issue and we do not need a strike to get our rights to be considered- what is wrong with the Landlord?? I mean to abandon the tenants like this.
