I have had nothing but extremely poor service from Ideal, and it all started the moment I installed the meters - " my big mistake", as this was meant to make my life easier with the tenants, however has done the opposite... When the installed the meters (on two properties) the installation guy came and demanded my tenants to go and get extra pipes, the installation was a complete mess, when the installers left, on both occasions they were called back!!! A few days later, my tenant had to call them out again, which eventually lead to a completely new meter being installed. My bill from City of JHB does not match the refund received from Ideal. On the first occasion, I was told that I would be refunded for the portion that the bill does not match due to the faulty installation; we then saw that the meters were not yet installed. This month the bill again does not match the City of JHB, I then called Annamarie at Ideal and was requested to send my account from the City of JHB, so they could see what was going on... and was promised that she would get back to me the next day "being Wednesday the 22nd ", it is not the 26th and I have not had a single phone call nor email...
