I am utterly appalled by the treatment I got from Trafalgar. I rented a property leased through them last year September. In September 2013 I was due to sign a lease renewal. I went in to sign the lease much later than the 1st of Sept 2013. When I got there I queried the amount of R 1000.00 that was outstanding on my account. I was told that the R 1000 entailed the lease renewal fees and fees for letters sent to me. I asked to be given a printed statement, which Natasha Herbst went to print, only it shown an additional R 700 for "breach of lease". She did not explain what exactly breach of lease entails. My outstanding balance was now at R 1700. I told I am willing to pay the R 1000 but not the additional R700. She screamed at me telling that I will move out of the premises "IF YOU DONT PAY ME MY MONEY". I paid only my rental amount for Nov as the issue was not yet resolved. They then sent another statement showing that I now owe R 2400, they added yet another R 700 for breach. I took the matter up with Adele Olivier who does not seem to care either. She has failed to explain what I breached and has not even looked at the statement and try to resolve the matter.
