Unfortunately because of space, I need to sum up 2yrs worth of problems.

Mr Edzard Barnard was appointed by us 2yrs ago to sell our property. The client wanted transfer to happen together with her property, so Mr Barnard said we don't have to sign the occupational rent. The client told her own transfer attorney otherwise and therefor things started to backfire. The client requested earlier occupation and I agreed on condition of R4600 occupational rent pm. Mr Barnard was instructed to set up an Addendum to be signed. Telephonically he told my husband it was signed, even though he later admitted there wasn't one. We handed the keys to him earlier as we already moved out and the temporary tenant we had in, also left on our request to accommodate the buyer. Mr Barnard went ahead to give the keys to the buyer without having the Addendum ready. Unfortunately more things happened, like the transfer attorney we appointed who landed up in hospital. Eventually transfer only happened 6 months later with a 3rd attorney. All the while Mr Barnard accused us of the delay and sided with the buyer. BAD move.
