Vision Properties
MISUNDERSTANDING ON THE SALE OF PROPERTY

Real Estate

On the 17th October 2013 I applied to purchase a house in King Williamstown. The application was processed and I was informed that ABSA bank has approved my bond application. Although as per the procedure I submitted the documents, I was effectively relying on the confirmation from the bank as to whether the deal will be approved or not. I therfore raised complaints about the carpets in the main lounge and the main bedroom. I also indicated to the agent that the walls of the house and the roof tiles were dirty and I need them to be cleaned.

Now what is happening is the agent is putting pressure on me to sign the documentation although there is no attempt to address my concerns. The purchase price of this property is R1 295 000 and this is a lot of money to just buy a house that is inhabitable. Numroeus requests have been refferd to the estate agent but there is no favourable response.
