Refusing to assist with getting a renter out

Brooklyn Properties is responsible to give a renter notice to vacate a property that has been sold and now that the renter is refusing to move Brooklyn Properties is not taking any responsibility and defers the problem to me (the new owner) who has to struggle to get these people with whom I have no contract out of my house.
