Failure to refund fees after cancelling a seminar

I am a home owner at Jackal creek golf estate. On 13th February 2013 i received and email from Jackal creek informing me of a property investment seminar that would be hosted on Friday 8th march 2013 at the Jackal creek golf estate by Property Financial Solutions in partnership with the Montagu Property Group.

I paid for the seminar but on the day i went for it, found out it had been cancelled. Initially on contacting Ms Melissa Hunt of the property financial group, i was informed that the seminar had been postponed and would be rescheduled. I awaited a future date when it was due to take place and when i noted that this was not forthcoming, proceeded to request for a refund.

Ms Hunt of [URL Removed] keeps saying she's away for weeks, oversees, not in the office etc and will refund me as soon as she gets back. Also, please note that her contact number has changed twice in this period.

Todate, 6 months down the line, despite numerous attempts (phoning and e-mailing Ms Melissa Hunt, contacting the sales office at Jackal Creek, e-mailing Montagu property group) i am yet to receive my refund.
