Electricity account not registered

Hi

I was renting a unit from Leapfrog Pretoria East, the agent handling the contract is Harry van der Linde.

The electricity account of the unit, Unit 9, Zanorita Park is for some reason STILL registered in my name.

On the 25th July 2013, I vacated the premises and was told that the electricity account would be removed from my name and transferred back to the owner, I had nothing to worry about.

This morning I received an municpal account dated for the period of 19th July 2013 to 19th August 2013 for a total of R1088.00.

Naturally I am upset about this because Harry has not done his job in getting the electricity account registered on the owners name.

I of course refuse to pay the _*full*_ amount of this account, I am willing to pay for the days I was in the unit (19th => 25th @ 6 days).

This needs to be sorted out as soon as possible because I will take legal action against Leapfrog if the municipality takes me to court for unpaid bills because Leapfrog has breached contract.
