Refund - Deposit

This company has a clause on their notice "Your deposit will be refunded within 7 days of signing the snag list. I signed the snag list on 28/07/2013 which I expected to be submitted by the caretaker of their building on Monday as they check for faults and defects.

Today is the 7th and I have received any feedback nor my deposit but one pays in advance, in their time specified for one occupy a unit. I lodged a complaint with the company and have had no response.

This is absolutely unfair and I see most of the complains are deposit refund complaints which is clearly a trend/behaviour that they away with.

Surely these guys are affiliated with a body regulating estate agents/building management companies where one can refer these matters. Anyone who knows such body can advise for me to escalate.

Hopefully they one of the companies that respond otherwise I am doomed.
