I am currently a tenant to Acutts since September 2012 and have never ever received a bill for my water and electricity, however i pay an additional amount to my rent to cover the L &W. ( in the first month i didn't have electricity for 2weeks, due to Acutts not paying their bill). I was told by Amanda Nesom, that i shouldn't worry about a bill if i don't get one, cos many tenants don't pay elect & water. Every 2 months my water or electricity is cut without notice because Acutts don't pay the Municipality the money i allocate towards my water & elect bill. Now i am in a situation where apparently i owe R2250 to the municipality. Acutts agents are extremely rude, arrogant, disrespectful and unhelpful, and put forward threats instead of assisting. i was just threaten with an email from Nicole Sheppard, saying because i am rude (rude for asking for my elect & water to be connected), she will not follow up with my reconnection - so i must basely suffer with no lights. My bills are always paid before time, and this is extremely inconvenient as i have a small child, when i call for assistance when i get home & realize i have been disconnected, the agents turn their phones off
