Do NOT do business with this man

I was looking for a property to rent and saw a place on [URL Removed] I contacted the landlord for a viewing and viewed it on Wednesday 12 June 2013. I immediately wanted to pay the deposit as I had it at hand but someone else was also interested. Kelvin Jonck told me that he wants to be FAIR and because it is 2 of us he needed to do a credit check (no permission given). I am under the impression that it is first come first serve. He said he would let me know today. He sms'ed me just after 11am saying that he got an offer for substantially more and that he gave the unit to that person.

Correct me if I am wrong, if he says he wants it to be fair, how professional is it that someone else has been given the unit (just because he is willing to pay more) without telling the persons interested...?

I see this as very unprofessional and I will tell everybody I know about this POOR and UNPROFESSIONAL service that I have received from this man.

I am actually dumbstruck by this... I have lost all my faith in the human race and property agents for that matter, just because of Kelvin Joncks and deception!

Talking about fair Mr Jonck... This is not fair... Shame on you
