Robbed me of my Rental Deposit

I have been renting property through this rental agencyKEEP GOING INVESTMENTS 40 (PTY) LTD T/A
EXPERIA PROPERTY MANAGEMENT
that took over from Apple Estate Agency, every month they knew they had to collect rent from me, but I have recently moved out of the unit I was renting and they are refusing paying my deposit saying I did not pay it to their company but they are the ones who took over from the other company and it was their responsibility to transfer the lease agreement and all monies involved.
