Failure to refund deposits due

I was renting through what I considered a "reputable" agency up until my lease had expired.

Upon signing my lease agreement with Just Letting I paid through R 9470 for
first months rental (R3900),
rental deposit (R3900)
electricity deposit (R1000),
(R670 Admin Fee)

When I questioned the monies OWED to me by Just Letting with my letting agent I was told that it would be paid one week after inspection (29 July 2013)

I had missed a payment in April as they had debited me on a day following a public holiday without my knowledge, -My rental deposit (With interest) was supposed to offset this balance.

The deposit in question outstanding to be paid to me is my lights deposit which has still been not been refunded as yet, also my rental deposit is supposed to generate interest, even if this offset the balance in April the period of interested generated (between July 2012 and April 2013) has not been reimbursed to me.

This is very unprofessional as I had moved out on the 27 July 2013 and I am still awaiting my deposits owed to me.

It is now September and I have not received a cent!

I wouldn't wish my worst enemy to use this excuse of a letting agency.
