Stand sold without advising client

I signed a contract with property legends for purchasing stand 2818 (545 m2) from them. I advised them that i had my own banker who will assist me with the finance. I got 90% approval from Nedbank and advised them. Annelie their bond specialist refered me to ABSA for the 10%. When I managed to secure the remaining 10% and advised them, to my surprise Jan Viljoen had sold my stand for more money. He then gave me a lot of bad attitude when I went to see him for a meeting that property legends arranged to discuss the issue. I am now sitting with a smaller stand (500m2) that he offered and must go to the bank to start the application process all over again. Is this how Jan Viljoen runs his business with his clients because of money.
