MAINTENANCE

Since 2005 i have been paying maintenance for a child that is overage and working. In 2010 i brought this matter to the attention of the maintenance court but was told that only the person who requested it can cancel it. I was given a date to come back and on that date the person didnt pitch up. The last date that that i was given was the 14/10/2010 and the same happened and was promised that i will be called as soon as they get hold of that person, up untill today im still waiting.

What surprises me more is that im maintaining the children im staying with. I am paying for their accommodation, their food and their schooling but someone is collecting maintenace money every month. I feel that i am financially abused and this is commited by the court of law that is suppose to protect me. I am unhappy the way the matter was handled.
