Burglary investigation

They was a break in at my house and a number of items was. The police came, took the statements, opened a case, came back for fingerprints as some of the items left behind where removed from where they stay. The fingerprints where sent to the Lab and results where positive.

After that no further update or investigation has been taken, i was just told the results are positive and the matter left like that.
I always at work and the phone number the Constable gave me do not work and his landline is never answered, and i just need to know the status of the case and if any of my item have been recovered with the help of those fingerprints they found.
