Online Vehicle registartion is a hoax

I have decided to renew my vehicle license online, followed the procedure advised online and transferred the funds, after a couple of days I followed up to check the status of my new license disc, only to be told that my payment with the unique reference number does not reflect on the municipalities side. So my conclusion is that the Absa bank account that is linked to the City of Cape Town's Municipality is non existent as you have to select it from a drop down list when you do an EFT.Now I'm trying to get my funds back to go renew my vehicle license in person. Take my advice peeps, rather go stand in the line then the easy way.
