Useless service

Date 06/03/2013 at about 04h30 I went to Bloemhof Police station after realizing that I lost my ID and driver's license. I am from Johannesburg and was on my way back home. I asked the policeman to assist me with and affidavit just in case there should be a road block and also as proof when I re-apply for the documents. He stated that it would be of no help to me and that he won't assist as he does not see the sense. I was inconvenienced by looking for a driver with a license as well as time and the chance of being locked up should there have been traffic cops on the road whilst driving around in a unfamiliar place with my kids in the car. He was also not listening, not interested and not willing to give his name. Whilst all this happened they were altogether 3. Him, another policeman and a lady just staring at me as if I was an. These guys are being paid a salary and they are not even will to stamp a piece of paper that could save another person from difficulty... I really don't know what our country is in for with pathetic police assistance and acting as if they are doing us a favor.
