I have over the last few months been in 'battle' mode with Ethekwini Municipality - the staff in particular. If you have half an hour to waste twiddling your thumbs trying the Call Centre and they don't disconnect you while waiting or in the middle of dealing with a query tell you 'Hold on' then pass you back to the switchboard to start the 'pressing of buttons' process all over again, you have indeed been lucky.
Considering the exorbitant rates we are paying for their 'services' if needed and their voluminous PDF on their
'Customer Care' procedures, whoever is hiring these incompetents firstly needs removing, and whoever is training them - if in fact that is actually happening - and to date the reality of that is invisible - definitely needs to be put out to pasture.
Just not good enough believe me - I am keeping this complaint general as to go into the details and the length of time spent on attempting to get results from my problems would take pages!!
