My partner had contacted the City of Cape Town early November 2013 to report a street light that was out of order, by the 26 November i was concerned that we had received no assistance and the light had still not been repaired i emailed the City of Cape Town to follow-up, i received a response from Abegail Kampher from the Electricity Division to advise that they only received the report on the 07 January 2014 and that they would have the light fixed as soon as possible, by the 24 January the light had still not been fixed and i followed it up with another email, i then received a response from Simone Tittleton from the electricity department that the matter has been escalated to the area manager for urgent assistance, by the 31 January the light had still not been fixed and again i followed up with an email to which i received the same reponse from Simone Tittleton once again, on the 6 Feb i followed up with another email upon which i received a reponse from a Rugshana Burrows who advised that the matter has been re logged and escalated to the Public Lighting Department for attention and received a new reference number! I am exhausted from being sent from pillar to post!
