Totally unacceptable service for taxpaying citizen

There was a power outage in our area last night from 6pm. This was lodged and eventually street lights and other home's electricity was reconnected but at 2am the next day, there was still no electricity for a young family with a small baby (who have bottlesthroughout the night to sterilise and make). On further enquiry, the call centre said that our electricity was diconnected due to payments that were in arears. We then went to the city of Johannesburg for clarity and after waiting for 3 hours in the queque, we were told that we were not disconnected as previously stated but that a fault was re submitted but they could not tell us when the electricity would be restored. The customer service was sadly shocking to say the least! (and better we leave it just there)
At 11:32 am, still no electricity, no electric fence, no alarm working, no garage door working (we are completely vaulnerable), no warm baby's bottles and all the Christmas shopping going off in the freezer... Really this is rediculous!!! When people told us we were crazy for coming back to SA... I am starting to think that they may have been on to something!
