I short paid my electricity acc by R1000 and was planning to settle/pay with this months acc on 2 oct. you also have a deposit of R2370. on fri at approx 4.40pm our electricity was disconnected. our domestic was at home but there was no doorbell ring. on fri i paid the acc. your after hours tel & fax do not work. so we managed to email on sat. the payment was received by yourselves and acknowledged on sat. no body has reconnected us. on sun re-connections were done at our estate, but not ours. the whole weekend we have been without electricity. no alarm so at risk. all our fridge and deep freeze contents we had to throw out this morning. also our garage door AND filtered water stopped working. PERSONALLY I FEEL THIS CUTTING ELECTRICITY AT FRI AFTER 4 IS IN HUMANE AND UN CALLED FOR. PLEASE ADVISE WHEN OUR ELECTRICITY WILL BE SWITHCED ON. I AM EMBARRESED CALLING MYSELF A SOUTH AFRICAN WITH SUCH PATHETIC MUNICIPALITY SERVICES, YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OUR YOUR SELVES.
