Home affairs officials terribly rude

Home affairs officials are so rude its shocking. I went to apply for my I.D and the person who served just threw my completed form on a counter that didn't have anyone attending it. Its been almost 3 months and not even an sms to say the form has been received. I have been there to follow-up on 3 different occasions but the officials don't even give you the time off day and make you feel worthless.
The service is shocking. Its as if they are running a spaza shop. I just want to know my application was received and they cant even answer that simple question.
Stay away from home affairs johannesburg on harrison street, and you will live longer. :(
