PENSION PAYOUT DELAY

Good day!

After serving the Western Cape Government for over 14 years, and 4 months after last working day, I am still awaiting on my pension payout from GPAA. HR has submitted the documents to GPAA online on 02 September 2013 and after regular followups with GPAA who indicated that docs are with payments and and after receiving an sms from GPAA that processing will be completed within 14 days, no pension payout has been received as yet.

After follwing up again yesterday, I was informed for the first time that there were problems with the verifications and that will also cause a delay in payment. This is pathetic service from GPAA? Where are youe BATHO PELE principles GPAA? Why has there NEVER been system problems over the years when you deducted thousands monthly from my salary iro pension contributions and now when you have to do your part, there are system problems paying out what is legally and rightfully mine.
