Blocked Sewer Line

I reside in a complex on Pioneer Drive. We started experiencing sewage problems on Friday The 4th October 2013 and a plumber was called out to assess the situation. He concluded that the councils main sewer line is blocked hence the problem and stench. Several residents and trustees all complained to the council seeking assistance in getting the sewer line unblocked. Only on Friday evening was the line cleared up. On Tuesday the 8th October 2013 we started experiencing the same problems again. After several tenants logged in complaints through the call center nothing was done. When I phoned in to follow up today the 9th October 2013 the Team Leader could not give me a valid reason as to why the problem was not attended to on Tuesday. Furthermore they also could not give a reason as to why the line was getting blocked so frequently. Only after I called did she advise that they were going to call the plumber to attend to the problem. This is really poor and unacceptable service from the council. We the residents of the complex have to now live with toilets that do not flush, sewage build up and not forgetting the unbearable stench.
