Damaged Bonnet due to N3 NTR Roadworks

Politics & Government

Whilst travelling between Durban and Pietermaritzburg on the N3 National Road between roadworks, I picked up a stone off the road and hit the front bonnet of my Triton Double Cab Bakkie. It hit the bonnet so hard that it caused three sever dents down and scraped right down to the metal. Considering my vehicle is brand new and only 13000km on the clock I know have to repair this damage at my own expense as there seems to be no legal implications on the roads department. The state of roads are shocking, not just do we get billed excessive tollfees and have to drive on pothole filled roads, you now also have to accept that you will have to pay excessive amounts to repair your vehicle whilst travelling on a national route.
