NOT COMPETENT, NOT DELIVERING, NOT CARING

Since the middle of last year, the R511/M26 road going through our neighbourhood was stripped and a 'path' scraped clean on either side. After weeks and months of seeing little to no activity on this road, we eventually phoned the number provided on the board relating to the roadworks. Just to be told that because the 'people responsible' didn't have any plans in place, the work was taken away from them and now it's 'government's responsiblity' if we want to lodge a complaint as they now need to send it out for re-tender. Who's problem is this?! Certainly not a few thousand of us commuting from Erasmia, Laudium and Gerhardsville on that road twice a day! I bought a car in May 2012 - I have had to replace TWO tyres in the same year! Because of the state of this road! Can SOMEONE, ANYONE get back to us with an answer and a timeline... Which by the way has been scraped off the board - it was March 2013 and now has a huge white line through it!!
