3Jan2013- my mother goes to Checkers Weltevreden to draw her pension however she is advised that there is no funds available. 4Jan2013 she enquires @ Portlands Hall/Town Centre and Lentegeur Civic regarding her pension she is sent back and forth to Checkers everytime advising that the funds where drawn from the account, one official showed her a print out that the monies where drawn 3Jan2013 @ Checkers, R1280, 16Jan she register to get a new card @ Lentegeur Civic she spoke to the District Official of M/P and he advised that an affidavit will have to be signed and he will bring the documents to the house, he never came, July @ Lentegeur Civic my mother again speaks to an official about the January situation, he comments "that's the million dollar question, where is the money", how is it that elderly people are being sent from pillar to post and nobody seems interested to assit them? The impression I get it that this is a monthly occurance for many and my mother is just "another elderly victim" The attitude of the SASSA officials is disgusting and so is the promise that was made to her by the District Offical of M/P, what is being done regarding within SASSA? Who is responsible?
