2 weeks ago i load a monthly 35 day pass from Midrand to Park Station. Everything goes well until i have to swipe in, as soon as i tag in the card decides not to work. I go to customer service at the station and i am told the card is faulty, a card i have been using since last year. I ask what do i now do. i am told i have to fill in a refund form and told to purchase a new card. i just loaded a card with a value of more the R1000 and i must load a new one?? So since i had to go to work i load the new card. the lady at the counter is friendly enough to say lucky i used a bank card to load because had it been cash chances of me getting the money are slim, so much for a world class service. Fast forward to today i get a call from the Gautrain office saying i must go collect my money at any of the station as my refund has been approved. i go to the station and i am told by the lady there, they didnt get an email telling them to refund me, may i please come back next week. This is pretty ridiculous its the 3rd week and how in the do they expect people to trust their service and call it world class when there obvious glitches. utter incompetence, thats what it is.
