An employee I encountered nearly committed suicide due to the emotional and harsh vulgar words used by a superior member who was their supervisor.

There is a fear that he or she can't lodge complaints because the supervisor and manager are mostly friends, and obviously, what the supervisor says, the manager believes. Yet, the staff witnesses every detail of what's happening but can't assist due to being afraid of the supervisor.
