Our office Xerox machine has been an uphill battle since the day we got it. We have partly made peace with the fact that we just have to accept the piece of rubbish since the powers that be at Xerox apparently cannot fix it. However, we have been struggling with driver installations on new office computers and asked for a technician to come out and assist urgently two days ago so we can continue working. They said the earliest they could come was yesterday at two. They never arrived, never had the decency to pick up a phone and let us know, and all the while we are high and dry and unable to work. On phoning today, no one had any clue what I was talking about, transferring me from person to person until I saw red, and when I eventually got through to the right person and expressed my disgust, he LAUGHED at me. They charge R700 an hour for their call outs, but treat their customers this way? I have yet to hear an apology, and am incensed by the way the disrespectful way the person on the other end of the line treated me. On top of everything, I have yet to hear anything regarding where and when they will eventually be able to grace us with their presence.
