I purchased a jar of Pakco Mango Atchar from my local supermarket and when i opened it i found a dead fly, already pickled inside. I called the complaints department at Pakco at 0861725262 about 6 weeks ago to inform them of my discovery and was advised by Yugen that I will be receiving the same product and something extra in the post within 2- 3 weeks. It has now been more than a month and after numerous calls i still have not received anything. I called 2 days ago and was advised by Yugen that she would call me back that same day, but now 2 days later I am still awaiting her call. i tried calling a few seconds ago and got an answering machine... at a company! I called 032 5331050 and was advised that Yugen is not available and she is the only person working in the complaints department. I already paid almost R20 for the product, was disgusted at finding a fly therein and have spent so much airtime on trying to get someone to assist me. If i had wanted to, I could have been a coward and gone to the newspapers as I am sure they would love a juicy story like this. I need this to be sorted ASAP and I DO NOT just want my product and something extra, whatever that might be.
