Captain Morgan Spice Gold - Bitterly unpleasant

I have purchase a bottle of spice gold at a local liquor store during the weekend, having a few guests over i opened up the bottle to serve everybody with a drink,
We often purchase spice gold due to the sweetish taste, but this bottle that we had purchased, was rather bitter and tasted very unpleasant, at 1st i thought it was just me until each person that had a drink in theor had confirmed the taste.i still have the bottle as nobody wanted even a sip out of it.i dont know if something might have went wrong during bottling as this is the 1st unpleasant experience in years, Disappointed!!!
