Rand Water
WHY SHOULD WE SUFFER TO GET HELP???

Miscellaneous

Last Monday 11.02.2013, a water meter bust in my home, as a result there was an over flow of water down our street in Unit 17 Ga-Rankuwa. My parents reported this to Rand Water inside Ga-Rankuwa complex on Tuesday and the guys there said they will come and address the issue. They came and said we should first remove our pavement/ some bricks around the meter as that is not part of their job description! okay' that was done and it was the last time they sat foot in my home!! My dad called on Thursday *mind you the water is still over flowing even if we switch the meter off wont help as we actually need a new meter box! * Guess what my dad was told, they claim ACCORDING TO THEIR POLICY IT TAKES 7 DAYS TO ATTEND A QUERY so as a result, they will attend us when the SEVEN DAYS has lapsed. just imagine!! my mom went to their offices on Saturday morning and she was told the same 7 DAY POLICY thing! Now we have water flowing down the street because of what i perceive as a stupid policy. What happened to Customer Care??? Who should pay for such water??? Today is Monday 18.02.2013 and still NOTHING!!! WHY SHOULD WE SUFFER TO GET ASSISTANCE OF THE SERVICES THAT WE ARE PAYING FOR??
