Battery Man
POOR UN-SUPERVISED SERVICE

Miscellaneous

Poor, Service - which resulted in a loss of sale.
I came in to Boshoff St branch on 05/02/2014 to have my convertible Mr2 battery tested. It was established that the battery was dead and needed charging. After it is charged the battery will be retested & I will be informed if it needs to be replaced or NOT . I therefore left my battery behind to be charged and paid a R500 refundable amount for a loan battery. I was told to come back on the 06/02/14 anytime after 8H30 am. I returned on 06/02/14 at 10H00. Handed in my deposit slip and the person disappeared. I waited & waited, he never returned to tell me he cannot find my battery. After about 1 hour of waiting I was asked to come back later. I refused & insisted that I want my battery and I would leave to buy a new battery elsewhere. Later my battery was found in the scrap pallet uncharged. I was then told that they are sorry & I should come back if I still wanted it charged. I then took my uncharged battery & went to tiger wheel & tyre where I purchased a new battery with a 24 months guarantee.
I had no problem purchasing a new battery. However, I don't believe the staff have any client communication skills.
