Terminating contract for advertisement

I signed a contract to display an advert on my car and the condition was to travel 2000km per month. It was spelt out if you travel less you will only get pro rata payment.. My kilometers were never less than 1700km. A late notice was sent out by them to change the branding and I did that on the due date of 7 Aug 2013 and therefore complied. They started pestering me to change the contract signed to one where you get compensated if a potential customer see your reference number and call them for a deal. This was not an option for me because the contract I signed was more guaranteed of an income. They kept on pestering me and I kept on rejecting it. Suddenly they did not pay the subsidy over to my account and on enquiry they say my contract has been terminated. The reason being that I did not travel the required kilometers of 2000 and that the change in branding was late. This is utter nonsense because I complied in all respects. It is clear that they wanted to bail out on the old contracts that is costing them money. To take them on through the legal channels will cost a lot of money and they know it. This cancellation was confirmed yesterday
