2 year warranty-struggling to get refund

I bought a pest free plug in unit from my vet shop last year with the promise that i can return it at any time if it does not work. we live on a farm with mice, rats and squirrels in the roof and the unit honestly made no difference. it was costly - R 799. the vetshop refuse to refund me and said i should contact the supplier directly. they also tried with no success. i've been struggling for almost two weeks now to get a response first from the vetshop trying to contact them and now i tried twice myself in the last week. really frustrated with bad service.
