BMW caught fire and they refuse to give me a ca

Miscellaneous

The car had drowned during the storm on the 28th of November 2013. The insurance passed it on to BMW Clearwater for repairs as the issue was electronic. The car was returned to me on the 11th of January 2014. BMW reassured me that the car was in perfect condition and I should not worry. The car drove well until there was a fire and was in live flames under the engine on the evening of the 29th January 2014. A BMW on call technician who was at the scene discovered that there was an oil spillage on the exhaust which sparked flames and some plate caught fire. This happened while I was driving on Doreen Road in Roodekrans. The car was towed to BMW Clearwater. Two days after the incident BMW informed me that they had assessed the car but were still not sure as to what caused the fire. They refuse to give me a courtesy car because apparently they cannot do that until they know the cause of the fire. That could take days meanwhile I have been left stranded.
