So as a diligent anti SANRAL supporter I have ignored the SMS that I got to pay around R50 for a vehicle I sold middle of last year. Then another SMS, so I queried with the purchaser of the vehicle who informed me that the transfer of ownership was not completed, and I received another SMS stating I owed R149 and some odd cents. The vehicle had then been moved from my name, then this morning I got another SMS, now its R159. I would usually call and tell them that they should go find the current owner but will it help? Do I want to spend hours sending the contract of sale etc. just to prove a failing system wrong?
