Sanral bill me for a vehicle not belonging to me

I received an email from the VPC centre of Sanral last week informing me of outstanding amount owing to them
only to realise they are billing me for a vehicle that have been taken off my name last year September (almost 5 months)
How can they keep me responsible for a vehicle that no longer belongs to me? because of there system not being up to date I am sitting with the inconvenience
