Last month i was in a car accident and unfortunately my car had to be towed as it was a unable to drive. Speedy Towing and & Spares (PLUMSTEAD), was on the scene in a jiffy to tow the car. My husband asked if they are affiliated with Woolworths insurance and he replied yes we are. the police and the ambulance driver heard what the tow truck driver said as they were on the scene, and of course off he went with my car. The next day our insurance informed us that they are not affiliated with Speedy and we will have to get our car from them as they will charge us heavily for storage and towing. Woolworths insurance once again came through for us and sorted the car by collecting it. We now stuck with the bill for storage and towing. When we called Speedy to tell them about the insurance they just said that, well the car is here and it has been towed. I don't have a car anymore it was written off. I just want everyone to know that Speedy takes advantage of the situation that you are in and will thieve you out of your last cent. DO NOT TRUST ANY TOW TRUCK DRIVER. To them you are just another victim to bleed dry. To me they nothing but a bunch of leeches reaping off other people's mishaps
