Non- Existent Maintenace Plan due to Dealership

My car clutch packed in and on claiming on my maintenance plan realised it would not cover cost due to incorrect vin number the dealership supplied to Liquid capital. It then took all of 3 days and many calls and arguments to resolve. I could not get my car repaired in time due to this and incurred car hire cost. Dealership via dealer principal Pieter Viljoen acknowledges that it was their error and has declined to pay my cost incurred due to their negligence and tells me an apology must suffice. To confirm this Nedbank (MFC) and Liquid Capital confirmed the dealership negligence which Pieter Viljoen accepted. The vechile is a Daihatsu terios.

I find the attitude and behaviour of dealership unacceptable with scant regard for the cost they caused the customer due to their negligence. They prouldly inform me I am welcome to take the issue up.

A shame on this multi franchise dealership in the day of increaser Consumer legislation and consumers need to be aware of doing business with this dealership who do not fully respect their clients.
