SA Post Office
No credit cards

I went to the bryanston Post office to collect a parcel. I stood in the queue of counter 6/7 and eventually got to the front, just to hear from the lady that she put my parcel at counter no.2 and i have to go there to pay and than I will get my parcel there. The queue at no 2 was very long and growing as this was the only counter available for general queries, posting, payment and what else you do at the post office. No 1 was only for licensing matters and counter 3, 4, 5 were unoccupied.
once getting to the front I got told by the female attendant that she didn't really no what to do with my parcel and I could not pay with a credit card. to underline her statement the Attendant waived the credit card machine around. I queried the inefficiency as I had to pay almost R 500 and in today's South africa it is not too safe to carry this amount in ones purse, just to rudely be told by the licensing attendant from the neighboring counter that 'they don't do this anymore'. now after waiting for over half an hour in the queue I had to draw cash and join the queue again to eventually get my parcel. Total inefficiency
