Car Booked In. No feedback

I took my car to VW because it was making unusual noise. They assessed it, sent me home because it was just the flap under the car, no big problem. Sound ensued I went back, they'd misdiagnosed. Discovered it was a drive shaft. Booked it in on Friday 17/01 at 7am. They called said it'd be back Monday. Parts were ordered. Great. Monday they discovered it was actually a gear bearing, then it was the input shaft, which all means stripping the car and me waiting longer. I have called continuously since because I need my car and have not gotten any feedback from them. I'm late for post grad classes because I have to make transport plans late in the evening because of lack of feedback. I explained this to VW Fourways service department. Unfortunately I'm still waiting and carless and none the wiser about what is happening with my car. It's frustrating.
