My husband Mr Singh bought a 2006 Golf 6 GTI from VW The Glen in January this year, on March 12th he took the car back to them saying theres a weird sound in the car, they booked the car in saying their workshop will check it out, they called back saying that the car needs to go the gear box specialist, after that they then insisted that they are not responsible for repairing the gear box and used our warranty that we took out on the car to fix it, that was not enough... then they said theres a problem with the engine, till today which is almost 2 months later we still have not received our car back, nobody from VW the Glen calls us or keeps us updated as to what is happening..no1 takes our calls either, we have to drive to them to get feedback, and the only feedback we get is that "we are still busy making a decision as to what to do"... this is unacceptable. Promises are been made my the sales manager Mark Adams to call us... neva materialises. My understanding of the "Consumer Protection Act" is there to protect us customers... and it says we have the right to fair value, good quality and safety. DEFINITELY NOT KEPT UP BY VW THE GLEN. I DEMAND ANSWERS VW THE GLEN!!!
