Poor workmanship

I drive an old, but extremely reliable VW Fox. On 04 December I spent thousands having all 4 shocks done CV joint and and then returned on Friday 14 December to have an inner CV boot replaced. I am often pleased by the service received from George and his team and needed to have these things done because I was leaving for Cape Town that evening with my family. I asked George to please check everything including bearings to make sure all okay. They did that and George said bearings are fine. When arriving in Cape Town, I heard a strange squeek and bearing hum from FL Wheel. Had it checked out and the drive shaft nut on FL wheel was loose - meaning it was never tightedned after the shaft was replaced by Supa Quick, which ended up busting my bearing because of the play. The RR also had a hum and it was discovered that there was one oversized stud put in that wheel, which knocked against the inside of the drum and caused wear to my bearing. I am saddened by this poor workmanship which caused extra damage which I had to find the cash and time for while on holiday as well as could have put my family's life at risk on the long road. So much for trusting the professionals!
