I took my car to VW because it was making unusual noise. They assessed it, sent me home because it was just the flap under the car, no big problem. Sound ensued and I went back, they'd misdiagnosed. Discovered it was a drive shaft. Booked it in on Friday 17/01 at 7am. They called me and said it'd be back Monday. Parts were ordered because car is still under warranty (55k). Great. Monday they discovered it was actually gear bearings, then it was actually the input shaft, which all means stripping the car and me waiting longer. I have called continuously since because I need my car and have not gotten any feedback from them. I'm late for post grad classes because I have to make transport plans late in the evening because of lack of feedback. I explained this to VW Fourways service department. Unfortunately I'm still waiting and car-less and none the wiser about what is happening with my car. It's frustrating. I'm inconveniencing everyone around me because it looks like I'm not planning my life effectively, when in fact I'm getting messed around by VW. VERY FRUSTRATED!
